MediHome

The “MediHome” is a comprehensive web-based application developed during my Master’s of Computer Applications (MCA) program at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. This project was designed to provide users with a seamless platform to browse, search, and purchase medicines online.

Utilizing a combination of technologies, the website was built with HTML and CSS for structure and styling, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly interface. The backend is powered by PHP and SQL, allowing for dynamic content management and secure database interactions. Bootstrap was employed to enhance the design with modern, mobile-first components, while FontAwesome icons added visual appeal and functionality.

For local development and testing, XAMPP Server was used to create a robust local server environment. The entire project was developed using Visual Studio Code, which provided an efficient and streamlined coding experience.

The MediHome offers features such as user registration, medicines search, category filtering, and a secure checkout process. This project not only showcases my technical skills but also reflects my ability to integrate various web technologies to create a functional and engaging online shopping experience.

MYSTUDYREPORT.IN

My brother and I are currently developing an innovative project, a website named “mystudyreport.in,” designed to revolutionize how parents access their children’s academic reports. As a website designer, developer, and tester, I am responsible for ensuring the site is both functional and user-friendly. My brother, with his expertise as a graphic designer and experience working in Bangalore two years ago, focuses on creating visually appealing elements that enhance the user experience.

“Mystudyreport.in” provides a seamless platform for parents to view their children’s study reports online, eliminating the need for physical visits to the school. This convenience is further enhanced by the development of a companion app, which is currently in the verification process on the Play Store. Once approved, the app will offer the same functionality as the website, allowing parents to access reports from their mobile devices, providing flexibility and ease of use.

The project leverages WordPress as the core content management system, chosen for its adaptability and rich plugin ecosystem, enabling us to add essential features like secure login, data management, and report generation. Photoshop is utilized to design custom graphics and layouts, ensuring that the website is visually appealing and professionally designed. CSS is used extensively to style the website, creating a responsive and aesthetically pleasing interface that works seamlessly across various devices.

We host the website on Hostinger, selected for its reliable performance and cost-effectiveness. The combination of these tools and technologies allows us to deliver a high-quality, user-centric platform that meets the needs of parents and schools alike.

The primary advantage of “mystudyreport.in” is its ability to bring the school closer to parents by offering easy access to academic reports anytime, anywhere. This project not only showcases our technical and creative skills but also our commitment to providing practical solutions that enhance communication between parents and educational institutions.
